THT assembly (Through Hole Technology) is a process for assembling electronic components in which the components are fed through holes in the PCB and soldered on the opposite side. This process is often used for larger components and for applications that require greater mechanical stability.
Matulka electronic emerged from Habelt Elektronik, founded in 1970, which was taken over by the Schunk Group in 1980 and traded as Schunk Electronic. In 1989, a “classic” management buy-out was carried out by the two founders of Matulka electronic, Dipl.Ing. Karl Matulka and his son Dipl.Ing. Michael Matulka.
The only current production site is located at the company’s headquarters in the Bavarian-Swabian town of Nördlingen, in the middle of the beautiful Ries crater.
In addition to pure module production (SMT and THT) with associated inspections and tests (such as AOI, SPI, in-circuit and function tests), our range of services also includes material procurement and storage, module development, device assembly, control cabinet construction and cable assembly.
