General

Since our origins in the early 1970s, we have been involved in all aspects of electronic manufacturing services for a very long time and can look back on several decades of experience, which, thanks to continuous training and investment in line with market developments, make us a reliable partner in the industry today.

The only current production site is located at the company’s headquarters in the Bavarian-Swabian town of Nördlingen, in the middle of the beautiful Ries crater.

Matulka electronic emerged from Habelt Elektronik, founded in 1970, which was taken over by the Schunk Group in 1980 and traded as Schunk Electronic. In 1989, a “classic” management buy-out was carried out by the two founders of Matulka electronic, Dipl.Ing. Karl Matulka and his son Dipl.Ing. Michael Matulka.

In addition to pure module production (SMT and THT) with associated inspections and tests (such as AOI, SPI, in-circuit and function tests), our range of services also includes material procurement and storage, module development, device assembly, control cabinet construction and cable assembly.
